Sometimes things arent' as complex as we think em to be.

the pens we used on earth

wouldn't work in space

so astronauts that had to do calculations on paper in the sapce ship

found it very difficult to write anything in zero gravity

so engineers at nasa

got down to the drawing board

and designed a pen

that had a pressurised ink capsule

so the ink would force itself out when the pen was written

i've seen the pen before. silver in color

needless to say, it worked perfectly well. and understandably so. with the millions of research dollar poured into the pen.
