And Hubert if you read this. HOW COULD YOU FORGET :( hahahaa ok im kidding! at least you made it on time!
Had a chat with raymond (another raymond )awhile ago, I've got to give a hand to this typographer extraordinaire, Art director of an intergrated communications firm and snake wrangler rolled into one. Firstly for working 9am to 11pm ever so often because someone holds a teaching job in the evening and possess certain charms that make his students hit on him hahaha.
And for encouraging me to stop talking and get back to my project .
I'm done with my project finally, cept for the summary. darn
BUT before i start rejoicing. Theres revision to be done and my last paper this sat!
on a random note: I'm listening to U2.
I've squeezed a little time out of my schedule to fit in Jeremy Monteiro's Jazz concert tomorrow :) A pair of Tickets sponsored by the National Arts Council.. schweet!
Oh and staring at my neighbour's bicycles all the time has lead to the resurrection of biking days I had as a kid. "MOMMY I WANT ONE" doesn't work anymore. Or at least I'm to shy to do that.
Before i lay my hands on a bike tho, there are certain things to clear off that wish list ! such as the DS LITE (can'twaite) and a nice pen for daddy.
notice Dads are always discounted for their part in raising us up? so If you forgot it's really not too late to buy him a gift or express your appreciation. hee
night all
Just uploading one out of 3 pictures.I'll post the other two after the magazine is published incase there are some issues :)
Thats a real snake by the way! A ball python to be exact.
A big thanks to Mervin the photographer, Steven the stylist and Raymond who gave some art direction .
Today's like family day for me, my dad was back for 8 short hours in Singapore, so had brunch with him and spent some time talking. Then in the afternoon, my brother and me sent Dad off.
Went for an early dinner at suntec's ichiban boshi, shopped like mad. We bought 4 boxes of royce, 4 cheese cakes and 3 tops from Lacoste.
The Big brother got me a sweater! yea!
Then we whent to church to pick Mom who just returned from Malaysia. Drove her home, unpacked all her things.
Then i received word from two of my friends who were abroad. Its so nice to hear that your pals are doing well! One of my friend teaches art to japanese kids in Bangkok now. Another is making her way to Aussie to study English .
As for me, Im loving SIngapore, anticipating the States, dying to visit the Zoo, craving for cheese cake, starving for sleep.
that sums up today. :) Im gonna get my craving fix and then head to sleep early!
here's the fun part, wearing a watch that cost 300K on my ankle for one of the shots (which prompted Steven, the stylist to barre me from walking around since a watch valued to be a big HDB flat was sitting on my precious ankle). The shot was done with a small python crawling down my legs.
And wearing one of my Company's Chopard watches and another's on my both wrist , arms posed against my arms and chest once again with the snake curled around my wrists.
the photographer's gonna send me some copies so I might post them up. Can't wait to see those up on the magazine!
On another note Ive a new found love for snakes. The way they feel when they coil on you, the pure strength of their muscles, they love for the dark and warm places. And how they dont need much maintence and care , makes a good pet! hahaa
I'm a major nerd now , clocking at least 12-15hrs the past 6 days on my computer. My eyes feel dead and so does my mind :(
talk about torture.
anyway I've been thinking about the two personality/trait tests administered to me by a friend 2 nites ago over the phone. Its more of a career test, turns out i got couple of questions wrong on my ability because i equated things to God. Therefore I do not belief 1) Fate is in my own hands and 2)Every thing can be achieved by hard work. Because to me, things are God given and we have control over ourselves yes but not total control!
thats about it, night all! I really need to sleep
Anyway here's another picture from my rehearsals for the arts festival. ELEVATION!
kudos to Khomi who passed her 1st bike practical! looking forward to hitch your red vespa ride babes!
I was reading a girl friend's blog, she's facing a breakup and it seems all those postings mirrored how I felt since that fateful day some years ago. That rush of emotions when you left me, how I waited for an sms from you. How nighttime was the worst time. Its funny I guess the way sometimes a person could mean everything to you at one point and none all the same at the other.
But of course I'm fine now, but seeing this girl have to go through it all brings me silent sadness. Well I wish I could be there for her , but we're not exactly good friends and I wouldnt be appropriate if I even spoke about this to her. I guess most of the time when people face a break up, they mostly feel alone. It's as it no one feels the unique pain you're going through..
