Zoe Teh, not only has a name reminiscent of a local TV starlet, she's also the owner of Thumbelina Nail Lounge. Located in the heart of Bukit Timah, Thumbelina is a new concept nail lounge that aims to bring pampering to a different level, what this Nail Salon spots are not only you OPI pamperings, but alot works of art, decor pieces which you can purchase (much like in a quaint antique store ala Paris).

In her own words' Zoe tells us why she chose to open a Nail Lounge and what we can expect, "I'm a beauty nut myself and I wanted to do something a little different mixing lifestyle with beauty hence I decided to fuse art, desserts and beauty all in one ."










Indeed when you step through the glass door, the atmosphere changes to one of sophistication and serenity. As jazz plays on in the background, choose from the lounge's wide array of OPI treats for your hands and feet.

I chose the classic manicure in OPI's Dulce De Leche in preparation from a friend's wedding. No more gelish for at least 2 months since my fingers has taken quite a beating from all the enhancements throughout the past months.

Yuna was the manicurist who tended to me and she quite quickly was able to remove my Blinged out Chanel gelish which I had on.

This was quite alot of work that only an experienced manicurist could accomplish fast without hurting your nails. Considering I had crystals on every finger, and a chanel embellishment on top of that, as well as an acrylic overlay and a single extension on my index finger since my nail broke previously, Yuna was not only quick and gentle too! thanks my dear.












The entire place can be booked for bridal showers, birthdays or corporate events for a minimum spend of $58 per person for a group of four to 10. :)

Looking for a place for high tea? or feeling peckish while having your nails done.
Cupcakes in an array of flavours like guinness and orangepurchased from nearby Five and Dime (who happens to be a business own by a friend) and Plain Vanilla eateries daily are available , and ginger or green tea is served free, but you can also opt for Earl Grey or peppermint teas at $3.80 a pot. I spotted some boxes of Gryphon tea :) so I could only assume the tea served is from The Gryphon tea company.

Sure beats TWG which I personally find to be over-rated. But which you find is stocked amply in my house thanks to Mother Dearest haha.
