For some reason, my long weekend has turned to bouts of debauchery with heavy notes of alcohol. I am probably most in need of a detox regiment, cant' eat well. Can sleep really well. *laughs*

So here I am, promising to swear off alcohol for the rest of the month. This weekend was an emo one, in a bid to save my fledging spirits...

Speaking of which I have to confess that I do not understand myself.I mean like why the hell am i the least intrigued by even very eligible guys. It's as if they all lack chemical X. Well if anyone did caught my attention, it wasn't enough. My bestest guy pal said I am 'easily bored', and he wants to know if i still have my criteria of 'my perfect guy', I told him I was so over that, because what you want isn't what you get.


And like how History just loves to repeat itself, I met this really cute guy over the weekend, lo and behold he just had to be 'not local'. So there on a jet plane he goes, back to the land of smiles...

Man, september's over and boy am I still fast asleep..Someone needs to wake me up.

I finally made it to Hort Park in my zebra heels no less, (sorry i had to rave about the shoes) hahahaaa, for starters, Hort Park is the it park. Forget about East Coast already.

Get your ass, or should i say feet onto the 2.5km trail. You will not regret. For foodies, head to KHA (the thai restaurant in hort park), try their duck drumstick dish. It's fabulous,even with parsley thrown in! Hey I know how you hate parsley, I hate it too, but it was soo good paired with the duck..

on a different note, I've completed Season 1 of Gossip Girls much to my own surprise, I hope I'll complete season 2, because when I didnt actually get that far when it came to HEROES..., the results were fateful. Do I really have such a short attention span? Maybe only, when it comes to guys.

Oh well, I do kid......

Alas, work has rendered my social life zero, the evidence : Clocking 9 episodes of GOSSIP GIRL in a Friday. Hey, if you think upper east side drama is reserved for the girls? My guyfriends load up on these too.

oh and I even taking a little haitus from halloween this year. Better of having pineapple malibu by the pool with the BFF.

No big parties nor alcoholic debauchery this year. (Guys, no one managed to even get me drunk on my 21st) .

I'm not even drawing up a wish list. Because all I wanted, I've seen it unfold throughout this special god given day. And i've missed out on this for a couple of years. Yes You guys finally got them cake smacked onto my face and hair no less.

I had to use HAND SOAP to wash it off. *Gasp* It feels alot like gatsby, so guys, citing the rising cost of everything. You might wanna turn to CAKE? haaa

So I completed my first 10km run - The Nike Human race, in approximately 1:19. (79mins).Top runners worldwide did their 10kms in about 29-30mins.

The thought of me taking a single step when they've taken 3 isn't quite amusing. Ah but the post race concert wasn't too bad at all. They threw a couple of free ipods out to the audiences.


So who's game for another race. I'm looking towards the Great Eastern Womens' run come October!

I don't know why they call it a competition.
When it's obviously my coronation.

Ok I kid. Why so serious?

So I heard on the radio that the double moon phenomenon's a Hoax. The real deal was back in 2003, and the next sighting of such would not be in another 200years . Or perhaps 195 since 5 years has passed.

Got a text msg from Min saying that there's gonna be '2 moons' up in the skies tonite, at 1230pm. The extra moon will be Mars, because for some reason that's probably gonna be explained by the sciences, Mars will be illuminated really bright tonight. Watch out for that!

Other than this, I have the NIKE human race to look forward to this week, coupled with my pageant events!

It is said the early bird catches the worm. In my case, the early bird avoids the rain! *phew*. I woke up an a grand 715am this morning. Thinking it was 815, I breezed thru my breakfast and left my sweet home at 810am.

For the uninformed. I walk 15mins every morning from the MRT to my workplace (not to mention the 45mins spent commuting on buses and trains). So I got to work at about 910 am, guess I was lucky to have avoided the rain that aptly started when I got to my workplace!

The pictures are from the Breitling event I attended last evening with Nick. I can't believe I don't have a picture of myself! Yes, because I was wearing this gorgeous dress. *chuckles*.

We met various personalities last night, from Mr Neo, the GM of Breitling, to Mr Jeremy Lim, GM of cortina watches who showed us some cool JLC and Wyler watches, also the CEO of The Mill, models from looque and diva, a pilot, and a guy who claims he swam beside Michael Phelps. Such events always have a wicked mix of people

Nick and I got our picture taken by the event photographer, now..If I only know which publication the picture's gonna appear on.

I think I must have had over 6 glasses of champagne, along with wine and whiskey - Macallan, no less.... coupled with an empty stomach It was a definite recipe for disaster, or shall I say Hang Over.
