bourne supremacy is a show that will send you to sleep even if you're not asking to.
Too much senseless dialogue if you ask me, its one of the rare shows that I actually wished they shut their traps and just fight it out.

The National day parade was quite a smash this year, I was guilty of arriving at the time that renders me VVIP because the parliament members were already seated and probably the NS ushers were ready to curse me for being haughty already.

Encounted a lady who tried to pique me into passing her a ticket by saying in mandarin " you got so many tickets , give me one to see my _____ who's in there" . I'm not sure how credible is that , but lady I have no extra tickets? . I brought my brother and his gf there :).

Also , I was given tickets to sing fest but it clashed with the NDP so I passed it on to my friend Keane! Obviously singfest was kick ass. We need more of these!

as much as i've been studying hard , I realised how much time I've spend on leisure lately . Lunches at crystal jade, a KTV session and movies.

And so the weekend is over. But not before I treated my peepers to films like- The Simpsons and Alone, had myself a round of tomyum and most of all got my lazy bum to get cracking on my school project.

Which happens to be about Corruption in Politics . I've chosen to write on Russia, the 2nd country would either be Indonesia , Thailand or something.

Some half an hour ago I was playing Busybody - my granddad was watching Tv and I decided to check out what was showing too. Lo and Behold, I was greeted by my polymate and his girlfriend's face on the googlebox. They were 2 out of 12 contestants on this particular show. His girlfriend bears an uncanny resemblance to my brother's gf. haha

sure I was a little tickled about the things they did on tv, such as 'taping an MTV footage', then the horror set in.
I couldnt help but think that Singapore was just too small, I couldnt even watch tv without seeing someone I know?

I had some 'satay beehoon' for dinner in a portion so minute, an additional 'goreng pisang' was required to reach satisfactory levels on my hunger scale. I've been reading Jancis robinsons wine course. Ice wine and dessert wines are my favourite. Of cos there's alot more for my sweet tooth to discover. Laughs.

and there's is particular wine im after, Muscat from Domaine de montahuc, It was sold out at vivocity and the next best place to get a hold of it would be siglap.
Which reminds me my brother's coming back tomorrow :) wonder what he's gotten for me from Bangkok.

    Hello Hollywood.

you're not too faraway. Just 4 months!

Received a piece of good news this evening, my God brother Steven said I could bunk over at his Los Angeles home this November .

till then can I'll be singing the tunes of phantom planet " california here we come!". Maybe there's a closet Hippie in me that wants to relive those days of 'make love not war' hahha. I'm yearning for a taste of skiing or perhaps snowboarding! I want to build a snowman, to ice skate on a frozen lake, to have wine straight from a winery. Bliss awaits

Had to pleasure of meeting my brother's girlfriend's cousin and his friend. (yes it's a like a 3rd degree connection)
To say I felt awestruck would be understatement as these 2 spectacular personalities happen to have served in the Iraq war.

ye brave souls. Chang was injured in the the war. To say the least. Should the same have happen to me, I probably wouldnt be able to live my life or something. By God's grace it is.

a thing or two i noted about those two boys - bourbon coke was not bourbon coke. It was refered as " JACK and COKE". Next, anything that offends you or your tastebuds you say - "OHHH thats Nasty!"

We got those 2 home by 5 or 6am, chilled a little since it was pouring. Tried to fix Chang's fallen camera, watched Larry sing his heart out, peeked at the pictures we took and then we said our goodbyes.

    shopping paradox.

I spent 199 on a Raoul shirt, and while trying in , I inspired this china girl (who was obviously a mistress of this uncle) to try it on too. Laughs. Too bad the uncle didnt wanna buy it for her after looking at price tag.

well, I didnt mean to sound so shallow. However that certain uncle couldnt take his eyes of my girl friend. - certified Dirty Old Man. yikes.

and yes and why this is a paradox. It's because I spent 12 bucks on a tee.

Not just any t-shirt tho. It's a special one. I'll post pictures! :)

    specially for Shintia :

Most appliances, when plugged in to the wall, consume energy even when the product is not in use. These appliances include cellphone chargers, DVD's, TV's and washing machines. Consumers believe their appliance is off, when it is actually standing by and still consuming power. Test your cellphone charger - feel the charger whilst it is plugged in and not in use. It will be warm to the touch. Those are wasted watts! They are often referred to as "energy vampires" because they have 2 teeth and suck electricity continuously!

    well. I'm sucha kid.

Anyway loved the LIVE EARTH movement, i guess nevermind that one day of splurging on electricity to raise so much awareness. For that, maybe I'll forgive them.

The messages are strong this time. Answer the call.

I'm really wondering where can I watch Al gore's The inconvenient truth. Word has it that GV got rights to screen it during the recent Cannes. So I hope somewhere soon.

Anyway we should all learn- to unplug our plugs from their sockets. They're like vampires, they continue to use energy even if your appliances aint switched on.

For office workers- plsplspls switch off your computers, Dont put it on stand by till the next day. Not cool.

thats all. A little bit goes a long long way.

My jaws dropped when the fastest way of mailing those contact lenses would cost me 40+ in postage whereas the 2nd fastest ways. ( I wouldnt call that fast) was a mere dollar seventy five or something like that.

Well It's great because I had a long afternoon all to myself thereafter, so I brought my little doggie for a walk and then I went for a swim. Probably my 1st this year, If you didnt count those moments in the water durinig wakeboarding haha.

I had a whirlwind week, it just blew over so fast.

Shuffling between school, work and some leisure time equated to a super dazed student.

    I will
    1)work less next week
    2)Shop less
    3)Study more

Oh, Im planning to run in the morning tmr, we'll see if this materializes.

Attended the NDP preview this evening with Mom, the Apache and F16s bought me over. They even showed off their different types of speedboats used by coast guards and more. There was even this segment with naval divers diving into the water from a copter.

Lovely week, apart from looking like a Panda half of the time. :) I even managed a trip to dempsey road with Mervin only to have him think that I ate like a mouse since i dined on salad only . Finally got to sit in a land rover Defender!

Timbre the following day with my girls. Pity the performance by Timmy band was sub standard that night. .

Did I mention getting a cab this days is like sieving for Gold in the river! The hell. I spent 20mins tonight trying to call a cab from 4 diff cab companies . The results for those calls- I STILL DIDNT GET A FREAKING CAB.

    annoyance.
Either the Esplanade is cursed of the cabbies are just too rich to do biz.

Ill post pictures of the NDP once i load them :)
    check back!

Ray and denise were acting all funny tho, they hesistated quite abit when they wanted to ask me something. I'm still puzzled.

And Hubert if you read this. HOW COULD YOU FORGET :( hahahaa ok im kidding! at least you made it on time!

Had a chat with raymond (another raymond )awhile ago, I've got to give a hand to this typographer extraordinaire, Art director of an intergrated communications firm and snake wrangler rolled into one. Firstly for working 9am to 11pm ever so often because someone holds a teaching job in the evening and possess certain charms that make his students hit on him hahaha.

And for encouraging me to stop talking and get back to my project .

Gatsby's latest commercial seems to be a big hit .

Today's like family day for me, my dad was back for 8 short hours in Singapore, so had brunch with him and spent some time talking. Then in the afternoon, my brother and me sent Dad off.

Went for an early dinner at suntec's ichiban boshi, shopped like mad. We bought 4 boxes of royce, 4 cheese cakes and 3 tops from Lacoste.

The Big brother got me a sweater! yea!

Then we whent to church to pick Mom who just returned from Malaysia. Drove her home, unpacked all her things.

Then i received word from two of my friends who were abroad. Its so nice to hear that your pals are doing well! One of my friend teaches art to japanese kids in Bangkok now. Another is making her way to Aussie to study English .

As for me, Im loving SIngapore, anticipating the States, dying to visit the Zoo, craving for cheese cake, starving for sleep.

that sums up today. :) Im gonna get my craving fix and then head to sleep early!

Last Afternoon, after bringing my companys watches to the Sc global magazine shoot, I became the accidental model.

here's the fun part, wearing a watch that cost 300K on my ankle for one of the shots (which prompted Steven, the stylist to barre me from walking around since a watch valued to be a big HDB flat was sitting on my precious ankle). The shot was done with a small python crawling down my legs.

And wearing one of my Company's Chopard watches and another's on my both wrist , arms posed against my arms and chest once again with the snake curled around my wrists.

the photographer's gonna send me some copies so I might post them up. Can't wait to see those up on the magazine!

On another note Ive a new found love for snakes. The way they feel when they coil on you, the pure strength of their muscles, they love for the dark and warm places. And how they dont need much maintence and care , makes a good pet! hahaa

I'm a major nerd now , clocking at least 12-15hrs the past 6 days on my computer. My eyes feel dead and so does my mind :(

    talk about torture.

anyway I've been thinking about the two personality/trait tests administered to me by a friend 2 nites ago over the phone. Its more of a career test, turns out i got couple of questions wrong on my ability because i equated things to God. it's funny how I intended to do my project but was overcame but certain thoughts. It's one of those days where your mind wanders of to the past and memories come flooding back, threatening to wash up to shore all you wanted to leave behind.

I was reading a girl friend's blog, she's facing a breakup and it seems all those postings mirrored how I felt since that fateful day some years ago. That rush of emotions when you left me, how I waited for an sms from you. How nighttime was the worst time. Its funny I guess the way sometimes a person could mean everything to you at one point and none all the same at the other.

But of course I'm fine now, but seeing this girl have to go through it all brings me silent sadness. Well I wish I could be there for her , but we're not exactly good friends and I wouldnt be appropriate if I even spoke about this to her. I guess most of the time when people face a break up, they mostly feel alone. It's as it no one feels the unique pain you're going through..

rehearsals yesterday was a good experience. I was expecting myself to have fear of heights to a certain extend. But hey, it turned into a really pleasant experience. One that left me breathless.

Being up in the air with the breeze, having an entire view of the surrounding area of the padang. is a once in a lifetime experience :), unless you're from La fura dels baus haha.

The instructors were speaking a mix of spanish and english. It's funny because mistakenly called our legs- arms. And all I could comprehend was phrases such as Holla! , chickas, donitos. Perimo, quattro and so on.

There was even one performer from La Fura that looked like he belong on set of Pirates of the Carribean, Mostly because he looked so sharp in his shaven head and his beard was obviously painstakenly shaven to perfection to create some fierce waving effect on his jawline. He was the craziest of the lot, making out a barrage of sound effects as he went along his act on the wheel.

and goodness gracious that CNA wants to interview the 3 of us later on, worst of all its in Chinese?...Now i sure need some help!

ps performance will be friday thru sunday . Starts at 7pm. Free for all! however I'll be running around in some space suit thingy which is slightly laughable. I doubt i can be spotted / differentiated.

1)losing my card holder which contains my IC, my licence, my student pass and more
2)then my HP slipped out of my pocket on the bus ride to work
3)This afternoon after checking my bank statement - 2 fraud transactions done on my debit card at soo kee jewellery. the damage done to me... 500 bucks. boohoo

the bright side of things, I got my IC back from some man at dempsey road where i dropped it, so i gave him a red packet.

my Hp was returned to me by some negro guy who alighted with me at the same bus stop. awesome!

    the Bank situation ..pending.

but losing 500 is not the end of my life. However thru the first 2 events. I feel like God placed all these lovely people in my path who helped me along the way. My mom's a darling too for always telling me not to worry , cuz worry doesnt help. I think prayers do a great lot ! :)
